Hey Guys,
Over the last month the #TBBCrew has been busy working on our latest Head to Head. As I'm sure you can tell by the above image, we're working on circular saws. Our last H2H on circular saws was way back in 2016. A lot has changed in the tool world in 18 years. It was high time for an update.
The head to head isn't the only thing we've been working on though. There are also a couple of pretty good HowTo articles below as well.
At the end we have the YouTube videos, as always, but Rob has been on a tear lately trying to make his shop more useful and efficient so you'll get to see that journey on video too.
For most of us here, having a huge, well laid-out shop with all the latest and greatest tools would be a dream come true. What if you don't have the biggest space? How do you plan out a shop for that space? Rob is the king of doing more with less when it comes to shops and in this article he gives 9 points for setting up a successful shop in a smaller space. Definitely worth a read.
Floating shelves can look pretty fancy in just about anyone's home. I'm sure we've all seen them before but have you ever wondered how to make them yourself? Todd brings you through the process of building them for his basement bar. See the process yourself at the link below.
I've been a big PACKOUT advocate and user on the job site for quite some time. It has saved me all kinds of time by keeping my tools close at hand. Now Milwaukee is extending packout into shop storage solutions. Rob takes an early peek at some of the line.
Festool is a name most associate with woodworking and high-quality trim work. One can't always be working trim though, sometimes we have to work with the structural steel to incorporate into the framing. That's where this Festool grinder shines. It isn't just a grinder that Festool sells to satisfy a small niche. This grinder has some pro level features I wish more grinders came with out of the box.
Like I mentioned above, the crew has been really busy working on the 7-1/4" circular saw head to head. In this article, the crew tests 10 of the best circular saws available on the market today. So what saw is going to come out on top? Hit the link to find out.
