Concord Carpenter Workshop News

Hi guys,

I apologize for last weeks, two "broken links," on the tool giveaways.  Apparently this new newsletter template fooled me in thinking I knew what I was doing.  Guess not!

I have included two live links below.

Milwaukee Media Event
By the time most of you are reading this I will be on a plane traveling to Wisconsin to attend the Milwaukee Tool companies, 7th annual New Product Symposium, at the Historic Pabst Brewery Complex in Milwaukee. [Photo of old, restored brew tanks above.]

I do love beer!

This media event is conducted exclusively for leading members of the editorial community, over 80 attendees from various media outlets throughout North and South America attend this event, gaining valuable insight and hands on experience with all Milwaukee product launching in 2014-15.

Carpenter and ACC assistant editor, Phil Benevides will accompany me on this trip,

This Wednesday we will be posting live updates from the media event on the Concord Carpenter and Tool Box Buzz Facebook and Twitter pages.

Replacing A Window Pane
In the remodeling and carpentry world, I often get calls from customers asking about replacing a window pane that was damaged by a hockey puck or lacrosse ball.

The window pictured in this article is a Marvin, single glazed window with an applied energy panel.  There is no wood putty in this window - all wood.

Milwaukee Tool Giveaway
The folks at Milwaukee Tool have released two, heavy duty, job site, work boxes.  A 13-inch and a 26-inch  Job-site Work Box.  Built for extreme durability, the new storage solution can survive over 1000 drops.

Milwaukee is going to give one each to one lucky Concord Carpenter newsletter subscriber.
