Concord Carpenter Workshop News

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the absence in the newsletter frequency but we've been busy with snow related emergencies like ice dams and heavy roof snow loads!

So far, this is now the second snowiest season on record. In the last 21 years, for perspective, the average seasonal snowfall at Logan Airport is 43.5 inches.

This February's snowfall [64.8 inches] has obliterated the previous snowiest month on record.

Here's a glance at out TOP 10 snow fall amounts:

1.   1995-1996: 107.6 inches

2.   2014-2015: 102 inches

3.   1993-1994: 96.3 inches

4.   1947-1948: 89.2 inches

5.   2004-2005: 86.6 inches

6.   1977-1978: 85.1 inches

7.   1992-1993: 83.9 inches

8.   2010-2011: 81.0 inches

9.   1915-1916: 79.2 inches

10. 1919-1920: 73.4 inches

We're inches from an all-time record breaking snow, not to mention that our snow all fell within 3-weeks.

 What are Head-2-Head Tests?

Head to Head Tool Reviews:

Not sure which tool is best for you?

Having a hard time deciding which brand offers the best performance?

Our Head to Head Tool Reviews here on Tool Box Buzz. A team of contractors and carpenters led by Phil Benevides, Rob Robillard and Todd Fratzel.   We pit some of the best tools on the market head to head and give you detailed feedback.

Each head to head tool review starts off with specifically designed tests that allow us to showcase the tool in real world applications.

During the testing we typically have 5-7 individuals with varying backgrounds use the tools so we can develop a matrix of results and opinions on the tools performance.

The results are used to develop our head to head tool reviews where we compare topics like: Ergonomics, Price/Value, Speed, Power, Accessories, Durability, Performance and Price.

Our goal is to offer you a relative comparison of similar tools so you can make a decision about which tool is best for you. We're always looking for ideas so feel free to send us a note if there's a head to head tool review you'd like to see us do next!
