Concord Carpenter Workshop News

Hi Guys,

WOW - April came and went fast. The trees are starting to bud ,and my allergies are kicking in. Bring it on Mother Nature!!

At Concord Carpenter the beginning of summer means we get "busy," attending tool manufacturer media events, hosting the Build America tool training event, and of course, throw in an occasional wedding, or two.

This summer we will continue to bring you the same quality content, as well as, ramp up the outdoor categories as well. Things like, Who offers the BEST cordless lawnmower.

Summer also means cleaning out my kayaks and visiting my favorite fly fishing website New England on the Fly, to get my skills up!

Head-2-Head Update:

May 17th we are returning to our Newport NH quarry to perform a Head-2-Head test on Rotary Hammer SDS bits. We will be using the same format as last year - drilling into 10-inch thick bridge decks embedded with rebar. Fun, fun!!

Our "Summer H2H" will be with cordless nailers or screw guns - TBD

Newsletter Merger

I've been updating, you guys for awhile, on the ToolBoxBuzz and ConcordCarpenter newsletters merging.

We are getting closer to that day, and are currently working on a new visual format and graphics.

The new newsletter will allow both Todd Fratzel and I to have individual sections to write in, as well as allow you to hear from our other writers, Phil Benevides and Jeff Williams.

Were excited for this improvement and hope to continue to bring you updated information and content.

The cartoon graphic [above] is one idea we are toying with for the newsletter. Each author will have their own.
