Skilled labor shortage
Funny story . . . two weeks after mentioning to you folks about the shortage of young skilled labor I received not one BUT three calls from young men under 30 yrs looking to be apprentices.
Unfortunately I cant mentor / coach all three so the question is which one
should I invest my time and effort into?
If you're in the Boston area and you'd like me to refer one of these young men to you, email me at: [email protected]
Cordless Lawn Mowers are quickly taking over the lawn and gardens section in stores, so we wanted to test several of the leading brands and find out who makes the best Cordless Lawn Mower.
The first U.S., gasoline powered lawn mower was manufactured in 1914 by Ideal Power Mower Co. and they certainly do a great job cutting small to medium size lawns and trimming tough areas on large
lawns. But gas mowers are noisy, smelly, and require a bunch of regular maintenance on the gas powered engine.
We recently purchased an upholstered headboard for my daughter. The headboard came with black metal bars that bolted vertically to the bed frame. The problem was that even with two bolts per bracket, the headboard swayed back and forth and did not allow my daughter to lean back against the headboard.
The solution was clear; we needed to mount the headboard to the wall. This article will
address how to mount an upholstered headboard to the wall
2015 was a very big year for Makita, they celebrated their 100th anniversary and they promoted their 100th tool in 18V LXT line.
They boast the world’s largest 18 volt cordless tool line. This last fall their 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tools line-up will reach 125 with more tools on the way.
One of their new cordless tools is
the Makita 18V X2 LXT Lithium-Ion (36V) Brushless 7 ½’ Dual Slide Compound Miter Saw tool (XSL02Z).
This saw is going to be a great addition to mobile contractors. Just think, getting the benefit of 36V power and run time without leaving the 18V platform, genius!
