Build America is a six week team event traveling the country promoting accessible recreation for people with disabilities. From the construction of accessible amenities at camps to wilderness adventures with athletes with disabilities, the Build America team is dedicated to improving true human ability.
For the past two years the TBB Crew performed a 2-day tool training program. The TBB Crew was unable to travel to Charlotte NC to do the tool training this year, but hopefully we'll be at it again next
year.
One of our students from last year Ryan Billingsly is going on this adventure for a second time. Ryan's mom has battled Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for over 27 years, she struggles to do many basic daily functions that most of us take for granted. What's worse; she has it easy compared to some others with disabilities.
The BAM team
members have to raise $4000 each too support the team on the trip and supply building materials. If you'd like to support Ryan you can donate here BuildWithRyan.com
Follow Ryan and the #BAM2016 Team as they travel across country from Charlotte NC to San Antonio TX.
Good luck Ryan and team, and remember . . . "Stay Safe and Build Well!"
