MILWAUKEE's 10th Media Event
Volume 91

Hi Guys,

This week the TBB Crew is headed to Milwaukee Power Tools 10th  new product symposium. It’s an event where the Milwaukee team showcases all of their new tool and cool accessory.

Since the company began in 1924, Milwaukee Tool has produced some great tools for the trades. Today, they set the tool leadership high bar, by focusing on innovative, trade-specific, time-saving solutions with their accessories, new hand tool line and cordless tools.

We’ve been to at least 7-8 of these events and am looking forward to seeing these new tools, but I really like getting to know the Milwaukee team and their story.

We believe that the most powerful leadership tool you have is your OWN EXAMPLE. The Milwaukee team has a unique culture that has made them tool industry leaders.

This culture resonates well with us at Tool Box Buzz; They’re hard charging, and never satisfied!  Resulting in their continual chase for new, highly performing tools, that increase job site productivity and change the way we work on the job site.

The CEO of Milwaukee, Steve Richman, refers to this as “Disruptive Innovation,” at TBB we simply call it a recipe for . . .   KICKING ASS!!   The key ingredient in this successful recipe is that, Milwaukee takes the time to work with, watch and engage contractors in order to understand how they work, and what problems they encounter.

They use that Information to look for ways where the can deliver tool and accessory solutions, that help the us solve problems, work safer, faster and smarter on our job sites. To me it’s all about performance and functionality and they seem to constantly push that envelope!

So …..this year were excited to see what’s coming next…Maybe a cordless table saw?
How about updated cordless nailers or maybe a Cordless router? I personally would love to see a Cordless Track saw?

Whatever it is, I know they’ll have some outstanding tools and accessories.
This June 6th  thru the 8th  be sure to tune into our FB, Instagram, and Twitter channels to see unfold!

Our Thoughts on What to Expect at the
2017 Milwaukee Event

As a general contractor and professional remodeler I often find myself gutting plaster walls or making precision cuts into drywall to access framing.

Depending on the situation and the type of wall surface, the method of cut can vary. Normally in a gut situation, the procedure requires brute force.

When precision cutting is required, we use a multi tool and vacuum, sometimes a drywall saw, or even a utility knife to score and cut the board. It’s often a labor intensive process, and one that I have always thought, “there MUST be a better way.”

Well... there is!

HERE'S THE BETTER WAY!!
