Hi Guys,

Last week was the first full week after Milwaukee's NPS17. Came to the job site Monday morning and just got after it. We had great weather and it was just a really productive time. Then this week hits and it has been just rainy and crappy. Any gains from last week were lost. There's one day left this week and I hope you're just out there crushing it like I did to this chimney.

We've got a great newsletter for you this week. If you haven't seen on our social media channels, we just posted our Impact Driver Head-to-Head. This article is the culmination of 7 pros evaluating 10 drivers in common construction scenarios. Definitely worth a read.

The next article is about organizing and making over the laundry area. Laundry areas used to be relegated to dark basements next to the mechanical systems. Now days, many people (including my wife!) want the laundry room to look like all those ones she has seen on Pinterest. We'll show you how to add a shelf and get it cleaned up.

The last article is the first in a number of preview articles for items we saw at Milwaukee's NPS17. It is for a brand new storage system called Packout. We can hardly wait to get our hands on a set. It's probably the most durable and versatile sets we've seen to date.

We invited all of the major manufacturers to participate and the ones included in this test are the ones that chose to participate.

So who reigns supreme?!!

How To Build A Laundry Closet

Laundry Rooms are Moving Up in the World! Growing up the laundry machines were always in the basement, that’s just where they lived! While the basement may have been an afterthought, with the advent of indoor laundry, it did have some benefits, such as, less noise and less damage in the case of a burst water hose.

Over the last 20 years with the introduction of laundry machine drain pans, water shut-offs and stainless steel braided hoses there has been a growing trend to move laundry upstairs or on the bedroom level.
