I feel like I say this every few months but man, what a time to be a contractor. There have been some really awesome tool releases lately. Makita announced a new cordless tracksaw, Graco has a new cordless, airless sprayer, Dewalt's FlexVolt tracksaw is now
available, and a FlexVolt air compressor was recently announced.
On top of all that some of the new tools we saw at Milwaukee in June are starting to ship and DeWalt also has their media event this month. I can't think of any other industry that has seen such a breakneck development pace.
And speaking of a quick pace, we've been posting reviews at a fast and furious pace in the last 10 days over on Tool Box Buzz. We've included a few articles below but feel free to visit the site to check out the rest.

Quick Drill Storage Solution
With all the new tools coming out, I'm constantly reminded that I need to get my shop storage solutions dialed in. It's been about 1.5 years since we moved so my new shop is pretty much set for awhile. If you're in a similar situation, this quick and cheap storage solution is easy to make and really pretty cheap. Who knows, maybe it will help spark other storage ideas in your shop.
The new Planex Easy drywall sander was designed, for long reach sanding of drywall and plaster surfaces. This model was designed, not to replace the former version, but to offer users a simplifier, cheaper option.
Many times we see the latest and greatest new tools at a manufacturer’s media event. For Milwaukee, the event is right around the first week of June every year, dubbed the New Product Symposium. It was at this event that we’ve seen some amazing new tools. Sometimes though they release a tool mid season. Sort of like that kid in school that was so excited to share in class that he couldn’t wait to get called on by the teacher, he just had to blurt it out. The Milwaukee Mid Torque Impact Wrench is one of those tools. It is just so good, it just had to be shared right away.
