Hey Guys,
Like Todd mentioned last week about
it being fall in the North East, it's also very much fall in the midwest. We have our first chance of snow showing up in the forecast later this week. At our company for equipment we have 7 skid loaders, 2 tele handlers, 2 scissor lifts, an aerial lift, and a ground thaw heat wagon. Every one of them is out right now on jobs (except for the heat wagon, thankfully). This time of the year is easily the busiest trying to get everything dried in and ready for heat (or temp heat) before the snow
flies. We'll still be dragging plenty of concrete blankets come January but it's nice to think that most work will be indoor work this winter.
All this action at work has me thinking about all the stuff I need to do at home to get ready for winter too. Disconnect the hoses, test the furnace (running currently), drain the irrigation lines, bring in the potted plants, pick up all the kids crap out of the yard, run the snowblower, winterize the mower, fertilize the lawn, and
on and on.
Today's articles are to help you with some of those tasks. To all of you living in warm climates, feel free to have a good hardy laugh at the expense of us northern dwellers.
