Hey Guys,
Christmas is past and there are just a few days left in 2017. It's time to finish strong and then reflect on the past year and make adjustments to be better and more efficient in 2018.
So what have you done well over the past year? What could you do better? For me, I can
always use improvements in time management. That's what our first article covers, tips and tricks to keep moving forward instead of wasting time.
The end of the year is also a good time to spend down a little cash to lower your tax burden. I know a lot of guys that buy trucks and tools this time of year. Maybe you have a gift card from Christmas burning a hole in your pocket. Take a look at the articles on thermal imaging, Delta's new miter saw, and Diablo carbide
blades. Any or all would be useful and handy on the job site.
And as always there's a few YouTube videos at the end you may find interesting or useful.

Time Management Tips for Everyone
The older I get the faster time seems to fly by. Every year at this time I stare at the calendar in disbelief that another year has come and gone. I reflect on how I could have made better use of that time. I'm sure a lot of you are like that too. Here are some practical tips on making better use of the time we have.
The first time I ever used a thermal imager was at Milwaukee's New Product Symposium 2016. It was their M12 model. And while being able to see the world like the Predator (A Schwarzenegger film from the late 80s), the cost and infrequency of use didn't make sense for me. It wasn't until Milwaukee came out with their newest model, a no frills,
diminutive price, beauty that is sure to appeal to a much broader range of tradespeople.
But is it for you?! Can you really get benefit and return out of one?!
When you hear the name, Delta, I'm sure you think of heavy-duty tools. Tools that maybe your dad and grandfather used that stood the test of time. Delta recently launched their new Cruzer miter saw and are looking to continue that tradition with this new model.
Ever heard of the term vertical integration? Well Diablo has got it on lock down when it comes to the manufacture of carbide-tipped reciprocating saw blades. They either produce or own the suppliers of all the parts that go into their blades. It allows them to have faster innovation and better quality and that's something we all benefit from. Whatever
you need to cut, they've got a blade suited to the task.
