Hey Guys,
Last week we were talking about all the technology that's been creeping into tools the last few years. Every company goes about improving their tools in the way they think will be best for their users. The funny thing is that they all go about it a bit differently. This can make it hard to
figure out which tool will be the best for your needs. You can visit each manufacturers websites and try and compare all the specs but that doesn't tell you how they operate in real job site scenarios.
So how do you make heads or tails out of it and come to a decision? Here at Tool Box Buzz we try really hard with our Head-to-Head articles to give you all the information you need to make an informed decision. Sometimes you just need to know that the tool from your preferred battery platform is up to the task but sometimes you may even buy into a new platform because a tool is so good.
We also strive really hard to cover the gambit of the most used tools. There are a lot of tools to test though so sometimes new models come
out after the article and were not included in the thorough testing. If you're researching some tools and you don't see them included in a Head-to-Head, feel free to reach out to us in a message on Facebook or Instagram. We're happy to help.
Also, don't forget, we're giving away 3 Milwaukee M12 Staplers on 2/16. The giveaway is linked below.

Keep Snow Build Up Away from Venting Systems
We're now into February and for some the end of winter is in sight. Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow this week forecasting 6 more weeks of winter. I don't really put a lot of stock into rodent weather forecasters but around here, the snow has really been piling up lately with no melting in the near future.
Just this last week the local news was interviewing a family where the snow had
blocked up their furnace vent and was venting into the house instead. Thankfully their CO detector went off and everyone was fine. If you're in an area where the snow is still getting deeper, check out our solution for keeping venting clear. And while you're at it, change the batteries in your carbon monoxide detector too.
New Milwaukee M12 Ratchets - Which One Do You Buy?
Milwaukee has introduced 3 new ratchets in the M12 line. This brings the total number to 5 different offerings. If you can only buy one, which one do you get? Do you get an old brushed one because it's cheaper or do you buy one of the new ones because they are much stronger? Also, what size to you get? The slim 1/4" or the monster 1/2"? Read on to see which one may fit your needs best.
What are your digits worth? What are your fingers worth to you? There's a web site that lists what each digit is worth in
each state. Let me tell you, it isn't all that much money for a lifetime with a missing finger. Sawstop is trying to prevent table saw contact injuries. We took the saw through it's paces. If it prevents just one injury for you, it's worth every penny.
The crew at Tool Box Buzz recently took at look at the Milwaukee M12 3/8″ Crown Stapler and we like it so much that we thought it would be a perfect idea for our next giveaway. We are teaming up with Milwaukee and giving away three, yes you read that correctly, THREE of these M12 Staplers!
