It's the middle of February and most of the northern dwellers are sick of the snow. It's also the time of the year when retailers are tired of their winter implements and start clearing them out to make way for mowers and other summer outdoor power equipment.
I'm not so
much sick of the snow, I like how it looks and the crispness of the air in winter. I'm just over moving it. My back starts hurting a little more this time of year from all the shoveling and snowblowing.
I was driving through the parking lot of a local mall this week and spotted this custom 1981 GMC Brigadier plow rig. It was originally built for runway duty at O'Hare airport and sports a 20'+ blade. Just to put it in perspective, the top of that exhaust pipe is about 12'
in the air. Maybe winter wouldn't be so bad with a rig like this!
