Hey Guys,
We're just digging out from another major snow event in Minnesota this week. It's hard to believe that the first day of spring is just two weeks away. Last year by this time the frost was almost out of the ground already and I was planning the fire pit build pictured above. This year the frost is still being
measured in feet. Same with the lake ice.
It won't be long though and everything will start greening up. All this month we're featuring articles related to getting your yard and home out of hibernation. If spring doesn't arrive in your area for awhile, star, flag, or file this message away so you can find it when you need it. Also, we have a complete archive of all our past messages that you can view at any time if you need to reference an old article. And of course there is always the search box on the home page of Tool Box Buzz, Home Construction Improvement, and Concord Carpenter.
Without further ado, onto the green stuff.

Reviving Your Lawn After The Winter
Winter can be brutal on a lawn. Piles of snow mat it down, dirt and debris gets piled up from the plows, and the snow melts before the frost is out leaving huge lakes in your yard. It is important to start planning and acting now so that your lawn is lush and green for the summer.
In this article we give you a ton of tips and tricks to revive your lawn after a long winter. Following
these steps, it won't be long until you're stepping bare foot into your own lawn.
Ever since we moved, I had been wanting a fire pit. We had one at our old house and it was a great place to congregate with family and friends. This new house also let me expand my wood shop from a 2 car garage to a generous 3 stall. More projects were getting built and more scrap was being generated. We really needed a place to burn and the kids happen to love s'mores so it is a win all
around.
If you've been wanting to build a fire pit or even just a paver patio but you weren't sure how to start, this article is for you. In this first part, we'll show you how to plan out your project, excavate, and bring in fill for the base. That way when the frost is out of the ground in your area, you'll be ready to go!
6 long years. That's how long we've been waiting for a Milwaukee inflator to be announced. This week we finally got confirmation that this tool is a reality. Being released towards the end of next month, the M12 inflator is purported to be the fastest of its kind.
It's list of features is definitely impressive and will be a
welcome addition to anyone on the M12 system. Check out the full press release at the link below.
Raise your hand if you've ever used or own a Bosch Colt? Pretty much every woodworker or finish carpenter in the last 15 years could raise their hand. These routers have been so prevalent. Why? Because they are powerful, light, and dead simple to use.
The Colt has remained unchanged for the better part of a decade and a half but now Bosch has raised the bar again with the new Colt. They kept the things
that worked well and improved the things that caused a little frustration. Check out the full review at the link below.
