Hey Guys,
This weekend marks the start of summer in the minds of many. In the US, the last Monday in May is Memorial Day. It's a day for us Americans to remember our fallen protectors. In Canada, Memorial Day is only locally celebrated in Newfoundland to commemorate the fallen from WWI. But not to worry,
our friends to the north don't miss out on a 3 day weekend in May, they just call it Victoria Day and it is the Monday preceding May 25th (so last Monday).

Here's an article where Rob shows step by step how to install granite cobblestones but the idea is the same with concrete pavers.

The fall and winter can really take a toll on the what used to be an inviting place. Cleaning off dust, dirt, and previous finish is a step in the right direction but then the wood needs brightening with a wood bleach. Read on to see how to do this on your own
deck.

Woodworkers like to say, "You can never have too many clamps!" I'd like to amend that by saying, you can never have too many good clamps. In my line of work we do a lot of glue ups for built-ins and other wood assemblies. Having a good clamps that keep everything flat and square is crucial for me and I bet it is for you too.
