Hey Guys,
Hey guys, it's the holiday season and that sometimes brings a little anxiety over what to get for your fellow tool-lover. Or perhaps your loved ones have a hard time finding a good gift for you. Either way, we've launched a gift guide video series and article to help steer you in the right direction. The video series drops a new video every day (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day4) so be sure to check out the channel for the new videos over the next week and some change.
Some of this month's additional content includes a How-To on updating a fireplace, building a hot box, and a few new tool reviews. And as always the YouTube videos are at the bottom.
Fireplaces are often a focal point of a home. What do you do though if that focal point isn't in line with the rest of your home's design? In this article we show you how to take a tired, outdated fireplace and bring it into the modern era.
Construction work is hard enough as it is but when the mercury dips, adhesives and sealants don't work well either. For years I used to leave these things in my truck and just let it run all day. Now I've got a thermostat controlled solution that I can just leave in my trailer as long as there's power. Click the link to see how I built it.
One of our favorite tools from NPS19 was the new M18 Router. With its small size and vast battery platform, this tool is sure to be a hit on the job site as well as the shop.
Walmart is launching a new line of tools in their stores under the Hart name. So why would you want to buy a new to market line of power tools at Walmart? First, there's a Walmart in towns that wouldn't normally be large enough to support a Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes. And second these are made by the same company as Ryobi and Ridgid power tools so they have a long pedigree of quality tools. But it isn't just power tools, see what
else they have coming to market by clicking the link below.
MetaboHPT (formerly Hitachi) is developing tools for their MultiVolt platform at a rapid pace as the platform gains ground. One of the newest tools is this 2.1 gallon cordless extractor/wet vac. A vac is one of those tools I wasn't sure would ever go cordless. And while there are a few cordless vacs on the market, this is the only one that can run off of a battery or plug in the adapter and work off A/C power. It's a really
innovative unit. Check out the full review at the link below.
