Hey Guys,
Welcome to day 437 of the quarantine! In all honesty, this last month has felt like the slowest ever. Everyday is seemingly like the movie Groundhog Day. While life feels like an endless loop now, I've never been as motivated to knock out projects at home. A lot of the other #TBBCrew guys have been too because we have 17 new reviews since the last newsletter.
All of the new articles can be found at this link but we've also included a couple of the lawn and garden ones below because 'tis the season for outdoor power equipment. We also have a new head to head and some outdoor project how to articles included below.
Building a deck is a project that many DIY-inclined homeowners try to tackle themselves. A good deck always starts with a great foundation though. In this article, Rob breaks down how he does footings. Check it out!
I've heard it said that the Victory Garden is becoming popular again this year. If you don't want to tear up a swath of your yard and would like to garden standing up, check out the planter boxes Rob made for his wife a couple years ago. They aren't too difficult to build but if dovetail joints aren't your thing, use pocket screws instead for the same look. Oh and PS, Mother's Day is coming up in under 2 weeks... hint, hint,
fellas.
In our latest Head To Head we pitted the 5 12V multi-head drill drivers against each other. These tools won't be your most used but they are perfect for those hard to reach scenarios we all encounter. So who makes the best one? Hit the link to see for yourself.
With Spring now sprung over a vast majority of the country, many of us are getting back outside and cleaning up our homes and properties after the long winter. A pressure washer is a great tool to have in your cleaning arsenal. We took a look at the Ryobi 3300 PSI Honda powered unit on a bunch of cleaning projects around the home. Click the link below for the full review.
With all this time we've been spending at home lately, I bet you've been taking mental notes on all the outdoor projects that you would like to get done. Tree work is one that's often on our list so we took the opportunity to check out the Greenworks Pro 16" cordless chainsaw. Check out the review below to see how much work we got done with this beast.
