Hey Guys,
It's almost Christmas. Right now life is just busy on the job site as well as at home. We're keeping this newsletter a little on the light side because we know your time is precious this time of year.
With that said, we're running a short survey right now and collecting feedback so that we can tailor our content to better relate to your needs. It's completely anonymous but it will help us improve the website and YouTube channel. If you click nothing else in this newsletter, please click the image above
and take the survey. Newsletter subscribers are under represented in our results so far.
When remodeling, we're often tasked with updating some parts of a building or structure and blending it in with the existing portions. One of the best ways to do this is by using the exact same trim profiles that were used originally. But how do you find out what profile you need, exactly? In the following article, Rob shows you what he does to achieve a perfect match.
Painting is one of those projects that almost all of us tackle at some point in our lives. It's relatively cost effective way to change the whole look of a room in short order. But what do you do with old paint that you no longer need? Check out the link to see how to dispose of paint safely.
TBBCrew Ben F recently took the new Dewalt 20V Max Hammer Drill/Driver for a spin on some projects around his homestead. Drilling a couple dozen holes in concrete and mixing up SLC (self-leveling concrete). The drill handled the tasks easily and didn't even break a sweat. Check out Ben's full review at the link below.
How many of you guys still work on dimly lit sites with just barely enough temporary lights to keep from tripping on the site? The worst part is that they're usually in the middle of the room so if you're anywhere near the walls, you're always working in your own shadow. If this sounds like the sites you work on, check out Rob's review on this awesome Gen2 version of the M18 Rocket tower light. It may be just the ticket to brighten up
your site.
I misspoke last month saying the 12" category was our last installment. I forgot all about the compact segment. Despite its name, this segment has the most saws in it with 7. A few years ago, I thought of these saws as more like cheap toy, homeowner type saws and not legitimate job site-capable tools. Man was I wrong, these things can really do work and they're light to boot! So which one is the best? Hit the link to find out.
