Hey Guys,
This past week I've been reworking some salvaged P-Lam cabinets to fit in a different space of the same medical clinic. With the beautiful fall weather and cordless tools, we were able to setup in the middle of the parking lot far away from any entrances. That way we can limit both sound and sawdust egress into the facility. That's a win for everyone.
This month's newsletter includes a couple articles to help you with fall maintenance around your home. We have one to help you with the lawn and then one on winterizing your irrigation system. New tool reviews are in the middle and finally the YouTube videos are at the end of the newsletter.
I don't know what it was like in your neck of the woods but in the upper midwest it was hot and dry. My lawn really took a beating. There are a lot of dead spots from the heat and the weeds have started to pop up. If you're lawn is anything like mine, Fall is the perfect time to start gettin it back into shape and Rob has a great article at the link below.
Around the first frost of the season is a great time to shutdown your irrigation system for the winter. But how exactly do you do that? Do you call someone to come blow it out and hope they get to you before everything freezes up or do you try and do it yourself? In the article below, Rob shows you exactly what he does to winterize his system.
A few years ago Milwaukee really stepped up their hand tool game. They started asking users about their needs and started pouring money into R&D. The results of this have been some wicked awesome hand tools that are not only useful but also incredibly durable. One of the latest offerings has been these premium flex head ratcheting wrenches. These aren't your shade tree offerings, they're wrenches that any mechanic would love to
have in their toolbox. Check out our review at the link below.
We've tested a lot of string trimmers here at Tool Box Buzz and many of them have been downright fantastic. As W.O. Bentley put it almost 100 years ago though, "there's no replacement for displacement." The Echo SRM-410X has displacement to spare with it's mammoth 42.7 CC motor. If you're looking for a trimmer that lives up to the moniker of beast, hit the link below.
Extension ladders have remained largely unchanged for quite a long time. That stagnancy didn't stop the folks at Werner from taking a hard look at what could be improved though. To check out all of the new features, hit up the link below.
