I like to keep things stupidly simple. How about you?

Most things are not as complicated as they seem. And when it comes to men "trying to figure out women"...it's not that complicated.

The most common thing we try to figure out is this.

How can I make her happy?!?!

I'm sure you've read a ton of stuff already that explains why you can't "make her happy"...or anyone else for that matter. And they are right. You can't.

But guess what?

That's actually a good thing because now you can freakin' relax and stop trying so hard. You can stop jumping through hoop after hoop just hoping something works.

Here is the stupidly simple thing you need to help her feel happy with you.

Be a happy man.

Every single happy relationship that I know has one thing in common. It's a happy man who stands at the helm with a grin on his face and a beer in his hand.

Every truly "happy wife" I know isn't happy because her husband is constantly stumbling over himself trying to "make her happy".

She is happy because HE is a happy, secure, confident, curious, consistent and self-reliant man.

And with him at the helm of his own happiness, SHE finally relaxes. She can finally stop mothering his incessant need for her to be happy with him. She feels safe accepting his lead.

And THAT is where the really good stuff in your relationship will come from.

In this video, I give you some "fatherly advice" that nobody ever gave me. It's the keys to the kingdom. And YOU have total control over it.

"Why do I always have to be perfect??"

This is the most common question I get when guys hear this.

Listen. You DON'T always have to be perfect.

You simply have to WANT to be better. You have to realize that you get to create a "mostly sunny" day or a "mostly cloudy" day.

You simply have to stand up, put your shoulders back, take a deep breath and say to yourself, "Screw it. If I want happy I'm going to learn how to BE happy!"

When you begin the process of learning the art of self-reliance there's a point in time where a 2x4 smacks you in the head.

It hurts a little...but it's a 2x4 of love.

It's an amazingly CLEAR realization that everything good in your life and everything happy in your life begins with you.

And when you accept total responsibility for becoming the grinning captain of your own ship you will feel absolutely liberated from anxiety, anger, fear and "unhappiness".

And guess what happens to the people who live with you.

They will want whatever it is you're drinkin'.
