Like... what's the
krill?
Oops. I meant deal. Haha, I'm hilarious.
So maybe you've heard of omega 3s (especially krill oil). In a quick nutshell, krill oil:
- Enhances gut health - it alters your gut microbiome for the better, reducing
intestinal inflammation and restoring integrity to the lining of your gastrointestinal tract (GI tract)
- Regulation and management of appetite
- Reduces cravings, helps you to stop overeating and increase feelings of fullness
- Increases metabolism and improves metabolic functions
- Improves your body's capacity to burn fat stores for energy
But here's how where it gets tricky...
Does It Have Enough Essential DHA?
Both the EPA and
DHA fatty acids in omega-3 are important, but DHA may be the MOST important, at least when it comes to certain health benefits such as brain health. Yet when you look at typical fish oil/krill oil/omega-3 supplements, you'll see some provide considerably more EPA and not enough DHA.
Which is a waste of your money :(
This amount of DHA is best to experience all these benefits.
Plus, you'll know what to avoid when it comes to omega 3 supplements, too.
Later,
Mike
