This one's a little different.

This edition's a little different.
Note: Creating this edition was made way easier thanks to an update to Curate, the app I use to make it that makes sharing images from my illustration app right into my newsletter.
I'm going to spend most of these newsletters waxing poetic on product and team development philosophy; but in this case I'd love to get feedback on a little project I'm in the midst of.
You might've noticed a little thumbnail illustration of yours truly at the bottom of these emails:
Since I started sending these newsletters, I've had a number of people (including the incredibly talented Jermaine Boca ) mention that they liked it or ask if I could make one for them.
Not content to do the simple thing and just draw a couple faces, I decided to try and make an avatar generator tool in the illustration style above. This has turned out to be a muuuuuch tougher and more time consuming project than I initially thought it would be. Here's where I could use your help.
- If you could take a look at some of the early generated faces and give reply to this email with whether you think they're dumb and I should abandon the project or not dumb and I should keep at it, it would mean the world to me.
- I'm also really trying to make sure that the tool is inclusive to the point that anyone could create an avatar they feel represents them. If you have ideas for additional elements or customizations I might not have thought of, I would appreciate you sharing them.
