Greetings,

It’s hard to believe May 2015 marks my eight years blogging.  The most satisfying part is seeing readers of the Blog, both athletes and coaches, improve over the years.  The Blog is a free resource for coaching education that started as the book I never wrote, and then it became a fundraiser for my Track team back in Vancouver with the addition of ads and affiliates.

To quote Marc Benioff of Salesforce.com, "People over-estimate what they want to achieve in one year, but underestimate what they can accomplish in ten years.”

My first sponsor was Complete Speed Training, and I am proud to announce Pat Beith has an updated version of his ten-year-old DVDs.

Speed, strength, and power are the basic skills for most sports.  The other two skills are endurance and co-ordination.  If you excel in track, you can excel in most other sports.

Complete Speed Training with Pat Beith and Lee Taft covers all aspects of speed: linear speed, lateral speed, strength & power, and conditioning.  It’s not only Track and Field.  A lot of new ideas have emerged in the last ten years in terms of training, drills, and the warm-up.  So it’s always good to keep up. I know I do.

CST is on sale this week only, so if you want to save $100 off the cover price, *this* is the week.  Physical DVD versions and online digital videos are both available.
